What are your goals for 2022?

We are off to a new start in 2022. What are you choosing to leave behind in 2021 and what are your goals for 2022? We have an opportunity to set some goals for this year and a choice to leave behind behaviors and environments which have been unhealthy.

Dr. Henry Cloud has made some suggestions of what he suggests you leave behind and I want to share these with you:

  1. Drama
  2. Manipulators
  3. Guilt trippers
  4. Gaslighters
  5. Energy-drainers
  6. Codependent Habits

His suggestions of what we would like to see you do:

  1. Grow closer in your spiritual relationships
  2. Experience peace
  3. Say no to the bad.
  4. Say yes to the good.
  5. Have more energy.
  6. Restore love and freedom in your relationships
  7. Heal from your past.

What behaviors or bad habits do you need to leave behind? Where do you want to be at this time next year? We have to move beyond just thinking about it. We have to put a plan in place to ensure that we do it. Write it down and read your plan at least once a week and review your progress at the end of the month.

You can do anything you set your mind to. Phil. 4:13 says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” My prayer is that you will experience strength and success as you pursue your goals for 2022.
